I start most days trolling the internet for new MM titles. Occasionally, I come across a name I'm not familiar with. Saving Tate is one such find. The blurb was intriguing, the price was right, so 1-click sent Saving Tate to my Kindle. Best impulse purchase I've ever made.
Deck has loved Tate forever, but circumstance never seemed right to reveal his feelings. Even knowing taht the man he loves is being abused is not enough to draw Deck out of the closet.
This was an entertaining read on a lot of levels. There's a nice touch of danger and suspense that keeps thing interesting. Tate's evolution from victim to survivor was a joy to witness. And for me was even more powerful than the beautiful romance that Deck and he shared.
I don't know where Will Banks has been hiding, but I hop he continues to produce intense romantic suspense. I also hope he continues to deal with sensitive subjects like domestic violence with such accuracy and sensitivity...High recommended.
