This has got to be my surprise read of the year. Firstly, because even though it is C. R. Guiliano's 7th published work, this is the first to make a blip on my radar. And secondly, when dealing with the self-published you never know what you'll get in terms of quality.
All I can say is where do I find the backlist. I loved this story!!!. It is a tightly written story of betray and redemption. The characters are believable and the story has a nice pace. I even liked the ending, which was not typical HEA.
Thad never though he'd ever be back in Messville, KY or that he'd have to deal with the only mnan he'd ever loved. But, circumstances have decided that is exactly where he needs to be. The story has just enough angst to not be obnoxious.
I highly recommend this book and am thrilled C. R. Guiliano popped into my inbox.
